You do not need to see your GP first to talk to me. I work without contracts with health insurers, so you can sign up directly. Below you can read honestly what that means, including the costs.
No referral also means outside basic health insurance, so in principle you pay for the sessions yourself. In return you decide when you start, and no information goes to your insurer.
Because I have no contracts with health insurers, the conditions of basic insurance do not apply here. That has a few clear consequences:
Many people who come to me do not have a diagnosis. They get stuck in perfectionism, have doubts about their work or life, or notice that an experience keeps affecting them. That can be hard to explain for a referral, while it certainly deserves attention.
People who would rather not have anything about their sessions reach an insurer or employer also choose this deliberately.
Possibly. Two routes are worth checking. Supplementary insurance sometimes covers part of the costs; conditions differ per insurer and policy, so ask in writing in advance. An employer may also be willing to pay from a prevention, development or absence budget. No content is shared with your employer without your permission.
